Unforgettable Year 2004
I’m back after a long Christmas break.
I’m not into blogging about my personal stuffs these days. Perhaps it’s more accurately to say I don’t know how to blog anymore. As everyone from the world is aware of tsunami, the recent underwater earthquake happened on 26 Dec 2004 at Sumatera, Southern Asia. All of us are bombarded with its tragic news whether or not they are reported on the newspapers or through the electronic media. I could only see the death toll is topping aggresively, rising from 4,500 - 7,000- 10,000 and now it nearly hits 70,000. What can I say about this tidal waves that took away thousands of lives cruelly?
People looking up the sky - asking God, “How could you let this happen?”
People mourning the deaths of their close parents and friends…
My heart aches for the deaths as thousands of them died without Christ. Where do they go after death? To heaven or hell?
My heart discerns the time and judgement - it is near now.
My worries now are no longer about jobs, marriage, wealth, retirement and all kind of worldly things anymore. It’s all about salvation for my dearest parents, my closest friends and to all people who just walked pass me without knowing Jesus Christ!
We should start praying for our loved ones who are yet to be saved. Malaysia’s government will not hold any new year eve celebration throughout the entire country, said our Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. He urged the nation to hold prayers for victims and the entire impacted nations resulted from tsunami.
May God rest their souls…
