Friend, Congrats!
I am super duper happy today! One of my long lost friends called me at my mobile phone.
“Vicky Au Yong!!!!” She screamed on the phone.
“Yes speaking.”
“Vicky Au Yong! Do you know who am I?”
“Oh well, I don’t. I am sorry” Very polite, me.
“You don’t???” She screamed louder with excitement.
“Errr I guess I have got the short term memory loss problem ever since I watched Finding Nemo” I joked and chuckled.
“Hahaha..Sui Poh (Bad Woman in Cantonese)”
“Me ar!!! MICHELLE ar!!!!!” She continued and identified herself.
“Ahhhhhh……..MICHELLE!!!!!!!” I screamed this time, I guess the whole floor of my office heard me talking on the phone. Nobody can beat my giggles and laughters!
I am so happy by having this friend calling me. We did not contact each other for 1,2,3,4,5 + years, actually she did attempt calling me and came to my house to look for me. But I was in Australia back then. So I thought she left without giving her contact numbers and email address. The truth was she has given the phone numbers to my dad but he somehow forgot and had misplaced it. Geee…..I’m so glad she called me again and our friendship can continue to grow in blossom!
Of course nobody will call you for nothing. *raising eyebrow*
She is getting married!!!!! Opps, she actually got married last year. But now, she wish to extend her wedding reception invitation to me!!!
I suppose we had some agreement last time, i.e. must invite one another for wedding ceremony when we get married.
