Lubricate your contact lens
Does anyone here encounter the problem with your contact lens got “dehydrated”, yes too dry, in the midst of driving on a busy road? You try to blink your eyes as many times you can, thinking by doing so your lens should get moisture. However it turned worse and naturally you started to rub your eye. Then one side of your lens was dislocated at the cornea, your eyeball. It was really irritating and you felt as if there is needling and sharp pain caused to your eye. Since the contact len was not sticking to the cornea, you basically can’t see things clearly especially if it happened to a shortsighted person.
That was what happened to me just now.
It is very dangerous to rub your eye while driving. I couldn’t help as the lens got very dry and it will eventually drop out if I didn’t rub to moisture my eye. I drove real slow at 10-20km/h and I didn’t notice I had drove into a one way lane. The drivelane is big enough to fit 2 cars. So this big mercedes deliberately stopped beside me, it was a young guy driving the car. I read his lip and he was saying ONE WAY. I said sorry to him and also showed him that I couldn’t see with my left eye.
I stopped the car aside and massaged my eye, hoping that the lens will be back in position. At last it did.
It was a painful experience, so make sure you always carry a lubricant if you have sensitive eyes like me.
