Your right to laugh a bit

Venue: Fusion Restaurant
Time: 21:00 - 22:00 hrs
Date: 6 November 2005
Topic: Many

“I tell you, don’t you dare to bully me. Hmph..”
“-_-
“Hmph, I call 03-7956 8144 then you know.”

*Thinking* “Ah..Befrienders?”

*nod nod*

Then, another conversation started inspired by Befriender’s call centre.

“Have you ever wondered how is it like when you call Befrienders, then this is what they said.”

“Ha? What you mean?”

“Thank you for calling Befrienders, please press 1 if you are depressed, press 2 if you need a friend to talk to, press 3 if you’re have suicidal thoughts.”

All of us laughed. This guy went on, *pretending press 2* Tutttt

“Sorry our ‘Friend’ is currently busy at the moment, please wait and we will attend to you shortly.”

*Waiting waiting…*

*2 mins passed*

“Sorry, all our ‘Friends’ are still busy now. If you wish to go back to the main menu, please press O. Otherwise please hold the line, our ‘Friends’ will be with you shortly.”

*On hold*

“Sorry, all our ‘Friends’ are still busy now. Please try calling again later. Remember, it’s your right to have a friend!”

——————–
We couldn’t help laughing after hearing the creative dialogue. We were also guessing are priorities given to suicidal thought people? Imagine it can be damn serious if nobody could attend to this poor little fella.

As a follow up on my post entry, I did try to call Be Frienders number (03- 7956 8144) to find out more, especially is it like how we joked? haha hope not. Unfortunately I could not get through the number even at 4pm in the afternoon. For almost an hour I tried calling in the car, I gave up after that.

I believe I can still be your listener even though I am not well-trained for any counselling session before.

Disappointing moments

I never had a good relationship with my mom before. Why not?

It always turn out to be a disaster or fire warring when each time we start to have conversation. If I was asked “Did you give your best to be a daughter?”

The answer is ‘No’. I do not know how to start a conversation as she is extremely defensive towards every word I say. So do I. My mom is self-pity type, she always tells us she is not worthy. She always say she is not educated therefore she does not know how to express herself well in the right word. But I denied the reason she gave.

Just a while ago we had dinner together, it was supposed to be happy yuppy time we can spend together but it turned out to be another lukewarm silent war again.

We were making fun with my dad’s curly hair, sis, dad and I were all laughing of the jokes we cracked. Then she just turned us off and said ‘He must have liked some girl out there’. Gosh, how can she say that? Even his daughters believe dad just want to change his outlook once a while. So I said ‘Why are you so serious about it?’
The reply she gave was ‘Yes, everything I say is wrong…and everything you say is right.’ I was stunned by her reply.

No matter how great I treat others, how righteous I think I was; I would still think I fail as a Christian.
Shame…it’s a shame.

Happy Birthday, Vicky!

Close your eyes……

“Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you…Happy Birthday to Vicky, Happy Birthday to you….”

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Yeah…it’s my birthday in another 5 mins time.

A lot of my close friends have already pre-celebrate birthday for me. Frankly speaking I don’t really care much of whether anyone will wish me ‘Happy Birthday’ but is always good to have friends to give you birthday wishes. *wink*

Out of many, I had Poh Lyn celebrated for me on Thursday, which is 3rd of November. It is so sweet of her to get me a piece of brownies, that’s sooo yummy! And nevertheless the Japanese cuisine she spared for me at KLCC.

My best friends took me out today, opps, I should correct it as I brought them to The Curve since I was the only one who drive. We picked Marche and settled our dinner there. Food was just so-so but something different.

So what’s up in my wish list? Oh nono..not wish list, it should be my “hope list”, I don’t wish what I mentioned below before blowing the candles.

1. I want Eddie to wish me…(not a lot of Eddies I know)but what if he can’t even remember?
Updated 7 Nov 11:16hrs - Hmmm, it does not come to past. sigh.

2. I don’t want my mom to buy me anything or even say any wishes for me, then I will know I am not my mom’s favourite daughter. Updated on 6 Nov 14:00 hrs- She said “happy birthday” before leaving to Ipoh, I don’t know if she meant what she said. It really proves me right that I am not her favourite daughter. She even ordered me to clean the house while she’s away. Yes dusts and cleanliness is all that she can care of. On the other hand I might be ovewhelmed by her pressies or cake if she ever do it. No way, it will not come to past. It’s better to stay in the current status, the lukewarm relationship that we have than ever..

3. I want to have a smoother year ahead. This should be included in wish list, not hope.

My wish list - They are not in priority order.
1. Reduce size from 36F to 36C
2. Be more mature in handling business matters.
3. Have my Mr. Right
4. Double the current salary
5. Have less argument and more harmony & happiness at home
6. No epidemic birdflu
7. Bring more people, my papa, mama, sista and granny to Christ
8. Travel to Sevenseas.

Out of so many presents I received, there is one I count most precious which is a act of services that my friend said she would do for me. She said she will pray and fast for my birthday. Awww…that’s the most precious present I ever had. Thanks Jo, I love you…

Love you guys !

More photos and entry will be uploaded & updated as the time pass till 7 November!
