Desperado now, but WHO?

I think I am getting more and more desperate now. Thanks to all the conversation below.

Ever since my mom’s back, my house’s phone never seems to stop ringing. Almost every caller is looking for her and every call’s duration takes averagely 30 minutes. What do they talk?

“Ahh? Your daughter getting married? When?” My mom talked to her friend, A.

“Ehh, I am now only 45kg. For the past 6 months I worked on Yoga and eating healthily.” That’s definitely my mom.

I suppose A asked what she ate.

“I ate bran, oatmeals every morning and drink soya. I tell you it really works. Eh, you lah, must also watch out on your diet. Age is catching up, so better take care lah.” My mom encouraged A to exercise what she is currently doing.

Then, I heard…

“Ah? What? She got an ang-mo boyfriend and getting married also ar?”

“Good for her la, since she always likes going out with ang-mo.”

And then I over heard the conversation,

“He he, arrange someone for Mun Kit also la.”

:o OMG :o

You didn’t get it? Never mind.

    One thing i do believe and many have agreed with it.

    I am direct, expressive and friendly (perhaps too friendly), and the Chinese men tend to have this misconcept that I have a crush on them. It happened to me many of times and I was really upset with these men, the narrow minded ones. We did not even have body touch and they could already perceive me as such.

    Workwise, my superior had once told me this “Vicky, the way you work are westernized, and may not suit this company’s culture”.

    1. You either accept me as who I am and be my friend.
    or
    2. Keep yourself away from me.

    It really annoys me when they think they are high and mighty, thinking I was trying to climb and reach them. Geez! Goosebumps
