20, 30, 40 Get Together
We made a commitment to meet up at least every month or bi-monthly regardless of our tight schedules. The whole purpose obviously is to keep each other close in touch, share what’s going on with each other and to uphold one another in prayers. I have always enjoyed the company with the 30s & 40s and the best part is I am not bored until now despite of the topic we talk most of the time - Career, Marriage, Family, Ministry and People. Well, there is no gossiping and it’s all intellectual, inspiring and ‘enlightening’, the 40s mentioned many times to the 20s. Why enlightening? I guess it’s because the 20s always made a lot of jokes and made her laugh non-stop.
This time, we had this very pleasant steamboat dinner in Mak Koh, a restaurant next to La Bodega at Jalan Telawi. I thought the 30s and 40s have reserved the whole restaurant of upstairs since nobody else occupied. Wah, that’s very nice gesture of them.
