Hong Kong Kowloon & Her Beauty

posted in Travelogue, Hong Kong |

Anyone gave a thought on why Hong Kong gets even attractive after the sun sets?

Hong Kong, I'm loving it

I may have the answer for that. Everybody who has been to Hong Kong would know this place is damagingly crowded with people. No matter where you go, just remember this, you’re not alone. If you’re afraid of snatch thief, don’t worry Hong Kong is one of the safest city in the world. You will always see police patroling around the busy street. If you want to shed some pounds, I sincerely recommend you to visit Hong Kong where food can be expensive than clothing, so you tend to save a few bucks for shopping by skipping meals. If you’re on budget travel, c’mon Hong Kong is not a good choice for you. Unless you are fully prepared to eat instant noodles all the time. But that’s not of my lose weight program. Besides skipping meals, walking in Kowloon side or Hong Kong island can really give you absolute work-out. FREE somemore!Sport Shoes Street

As you know Hong Kong is a pretty small place surrounded with highrise buildings, every squarefeet is gold to them. Houses, NO, don’t even dare thinking about having a house in Hong Kong. Most of the people live in flat, shoplots or condominiums if they are the filthy rich ones. So try to imagine if you’re living in a small flat where my bathroom is equavalent to your room size, would you still like to go home?

Shop lots

It is not easy to spot infants or kiddies on the streets, they may be just a tourist if you happened to see one or two. However, the chances of seeing elderly people walking down the street, packing the restaurant yum cha is much greater, especially on the weekends. Why? C’mon don’t you think their working sons & daughters deserved to spend some quality time resting at home? Not that they don’t treasure quality family time, they would love to if their house is big enough to give them some fresh air. I leave this social issue to the Hong Kong SAR government to resolve.

Forget about privacy when eating out in a restaurant. Privacy is a BIG word in Hong Kong. Do expect to share table with strangers. Even if you think you’re good luck enough to sit on a seperate table, the distance between each table is only half meter away. But nobody is really gonna care about your personal life. Everyone will just mind their own business finishing their meals, ‘cuz if you don’t, you’ll be asked to leave. Better you leave than being asked to leave right?

We don't know each other...

I hope you can see the logic behind by now. Don’t you think it is good news for merchants and business if there are still people wandering on the street at wee hours? Put it this way, it is a competitive business world out there. You gotta create awareness and publicity for your products and services, hence the never-ending advertisements. Hongkie will not waste a single space if they can post bills, put up buntings, giving out tracts / brochures to boost up sales. Does this ring a bell to you on the neon lights billboards? Every one is trying to be oustanding in amidst. By the way, if you see some rainbow lights commercial board…beware or enter at your own risk ladies.
