Let’s blame it all on the gastric fever for no recent updates!
It just attacked me since last Sunday’s night. I thought I could get away from it if I got enough of sleep. Just sleep it through and the mama old saying “Everything will be ok when you wake up”. No it was not OK for me at all! I woke up having throbbing pain in the stomach. “Oh gosh, not again! Gastric is one of the worst I can’t endure with it!” I said to myself. But I wasn’t comtemplated to take a day off, I drove down to the gym club and wanted to start my first day of workout for the week instead. I would usually begin with exercising on the stepper for 15minutes and change at the treadmill machine for my normal routine. Not even 5 minutes I could sustain, the gastric pain was enormously hurting! I couldn’t think of anything at that time. The only thing I know was to drive to office and sign in my presence at the finger print tag. I didn’t have any other choice since the closest clinic I could find is the one next to our office building.
The throbbing pain came with the nausea symptom every few minutes. I didn’t want to end up falling on the floor so requested the nurse to let me see the doctor hesitately. I reckon gastric pain is the most intolerable, worst and horrible pain in comparison to other pain in the body i.e headache, diarhhea, muscular ache or even sore throat. It won’t subside instantly like few minutes after you took a pill of Actifast! I recalled there were two major attacks in the past, one happened quite recently. It was during a trip travelling with my colleague to Penang in October last year. I almost thought I couldn’t pull through the pain and died. Her 5-year-old daughter every now and then still asked her mother about this Aunt Vicky! Bad testimonial! Trust me, you don’t want to see me suffering gastric. My groanings, screamings and cryings would scare the hell out of you.
Doctor gave me a day of medical leave and asked me to rest at home. I didn’t come home until afternoon. The pain was stubborn and it didn’t leave me alone. The best part was I had allergy to one type of the medications that doc had prescribed me. Yeah, I’m quite gifted to be a comedian if I am not working as what I do now. Out of a sudden my gastric pain went to diarrhea. Hallelujah, there are two types of pain mixing and partying in my body!
The gastric pain still persist even until today though it has gone mild. I just don’t know what else I can stuff into my stomach. Eat right? Tell me how to eat right and I’ll follow. Almost every food I consumed had the acidic effect. Sigh. Sore throat has followed suit now. Perhaps I really don’t know how to take care of myself. I possibly ruin my health over the past few months. >_<
