Jittery …
It has been quite hectic days for me recently. Everything seems new to me while settling down. The transportation system, the food, the people here. Above all, the working culture here in Singapore alone can hunt you down already. You have to be fast to keep up to their pace. I seldom hear the “asap” word ‘cuz most likely the people are already working on your request while you blink.
I am still finding adjustment in this new organization. Frankly, I feel lost at times and more often than not, feeling nervous about the change. It’s not a gradual change where you can always fine tune in what you do and constantly improvise on your weakness. Wonder if I am competent to deliver results proving my worth here. Wonder if I can pass through the difficult season. No wonder my blood pressure shot up to 140/90 and was marked as “Abnormal” by the kind doctor.
Now, I don’t know if I give myself the pressure or I am pressured by the new change here.
